Dayme is a guide in Cachora. We arrived in town about noon & were trekking by 2PM same day. Dayme is a guide or can arrange mules & an arriero for you on short notice. He is very efficient.
Contact Dayme & Marce Lopez, tel. 005183-832034 in Cachora. This is a public phone so you may be able to relay a message to them through whoever picks up the phone. Tell them the day you will be arriving in Cachora and what support you might want. Alternately, you could write them c/o Correo Central, Abancay, Peru which is where they occasionally pick up mail.
