Night falls like a curtain close to the equator!

We had to grope & stumble the last half hour to camp. Three humans & one mule.

This was somewhat dangerous & upsetting.

Dayme had warned our arriera not to let us hike this far — but she gave us the choice to go on if we wished. Her mistake, I thought.
