There is great hiking for everyone at the Colca Canyon.

Want to get higher than soaring condors?

Can you handle a climb down and back out of a canyon twice as deep as the Grand Canyon in the USA?

A lush oasis with swiming pools rewards your efforts at the bottom of the arid gorge.

You could hire a guide (with burros or horses to carry your food & gear) in Cabanaconde but we recommend you carry your pack instead. Good exercise!

Peru is the most popular country in South America for hikers. Wonderful mountain access, spectacular festivals, & colourful culture. Historically alive, Inca & colonial legacies are everywhere.

What do you want to see next in Peru? The Amazon jungle? The Nazca desert? The bleak beautiful high plains? Ruined cities?
