... on my way to England.
Training is going pretty good right now. I have had a very good week sofar. Things are finally starting to come along and my preparation for Nationals is underway. I am feeling really confident on floor, rings, vault and high bar. Pbars and pommel horse are a little bit rough, but with six weeks left I know that I am going to put together consistent routines on these events.
I received my plane ticket for England today. I am leaving on the 15th of April. We are going to be there for 10 days. I already know that those 10 days are going to be hard, but I am excited because then I am going to be in awesome shape with four weeks left until Nationals. We are having a competition at the end of the training camp against the British team which should be quite interesting. I am curious to see how they are dealing with the new code of points and how there team is shaping up. We were very close at the last Worlds so it will be good tosee how we compare.
Right now in training I am doing a lot of routines and also a lot of physical prep. I am doing at least 2 routines on each event everyday, but in a couple of weeks I am aiming to be doing at least 4. I love it when I go to training and I know that I can do everything easily. When I am confident with my routines I find it easier to have more intensity in my training. I can just go and go because I trust my body and my mind to do the right thing. It almost seems automatic. It is such a great feeling!
Well, I should wrap this up because it is getting late and I have to go back to the gym tomorrow morning at 7. That is so early!
