some hikers start by catching the Uchuck ferry from Gold River to Yuquot (Friendly Cove) then hike West
more hikers fly in to Louie Lagoon (map) then hike to Yuquot to catch the ferry out
an hour east of Beano a lengthy & difficult headlands section will challenge you in places through almost to the Tidal Lagoon
there are interesting wilderness camping possibilities in the headlands, but you'll need to search.
the Tidal Lagoon looks like a river. Cross at low tide near the mouth.
