How up-to-date is this information?
Not as up-to-date as we would like. Paine is changing: new refugios, changed trail routing, added bridges. Local information is important. The best source of advice is hikers who have recently done the Circuit. Ask in Puerto Natales when you get down there.

Conditions change in the mountains on a day to day, hour to hour basis. Expect the unexpected. Be ready for anything, especially high wind & horizontal rain.
That said, the main advantage of the Internet is currency. This site is as up-to-date as the last hiker who e-mailed to advise us of new issues on the Track.
