Bamfield to Port Renfrew, 7 nights on the Trail

Here is a sample recommended itinerary:

day 1) travel to Bamfield

• Orientation
• hike to Tsocowis (17 km)

day 2) hike to Tsusiat Point (Hole in the Wall)

day 3) hike to Carmanah (2 nights)

• close to Chez Monique restaurant

day 5) hike to Logan

day 6) hike to Camper

day 7) hike to Thrasher

day 8) hike out

The last day is a tough day. Don't rush. You may have a short delay at the Gordon River waiting for pickup by boat. Consider staying in Port Renfrew that night; hot shower, restaurant dinner & refreshments at the Old Hotel pub.

If you don't have the extra night to stay in Port Renfrew, if you don't have a vehicle parked there, plan your escape from Port Renfrew:

• bus to Victoria, or
• the bus back to Bamfield, or
• the water taxi back to Bamfield
