bridge and waterfallOne of our favourite campsites, Tsocowis offers a swinging bridge, great waterfall views, good firewood, & good drinking water. Stop here for sure for lunch or, ideally, to camp.

"Bear cache" food lockers are available at this campsite.


Heading towards Bamfield, both options are lousy. The gravel beach sucks — literally — but the forest Trail is not much better being little used. Most hikers persist on the beach.
Heading towards Port Renfrew, you will stay on the forest Trail between Tsocowis & Trestle Creek due to impassable headlands.
